We recognize that there are kids in our community who want to play but cannot afford the fees. Moreland Little League provides scholarships for those who need financial assistance. Please contact: Sean O’Connor, MLL President at MLLPresident@morelandlittleleague.org for more information.
Just like any other Little League, Moreland Little League is a 100% volunteer run organization. From the board to the coaches, all are volunteers. We can not function and provide all players a memorable and fun baseball experience without your help. Every family is required to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours in some capacity including coaching, assistant coaching, event organization, field preps, cleanup, maintenance, and snack shack.
It’s our experience that your child will appreciate and benefit enormously from your involvement, and we highly encourage you to attend your child’s practices, games and related baseball team activities. In addition, most Coaches and Managers appreciate any extra help they can get so please volunteer to help at practices, games or in team support positions. Don’t worry if you “know nothing about baseball”- every parent has something to offer. It’s a team effort.
